Karen Weber story on WTVG Toledo, Ohio

Posted on | June 12, 2008 | No Comments

WTVG in Toledo Ohio is running a story about Karen Weber.  The story is sympathetic to her situation but is titled “Right to Die.”  I don’t see how Karen’s case could be considered a right to die case since she asked specifically not to be sent to hospice and not to have her feeding tube removed. I wonder whether this is an example of pro-death media bias. What do you think?

For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 1:5-8
