Local 10 News in West Palm Beach Florida reported today that a judge has sided with Karen’s husband and has given him guardianship over Karen. Karen suffered a stroke in December and he husband wants her feeding tube removed and to place her in hospice to die.
Karen told her caregivers, through hand squeezes and blinks, that she does not want her tube removed and does not want to go to hospice.
Removing her tube against her wishes is murder.
I’m not sure what we can do at this point. We need to get her story out. Where is big media? Why is this story not making headlines?
Spread the word about Karen Weber’s fate!
I’ll try to get more information and get a more specific plan soon.

Karen Weber will be evaluated by three doctors to and they will make recommendations to a judge as to whether she lives or dies. Dr. Stephen Alexander is one of the three. He states in a Toledo TV interview:
“My job is to go and see the alleged incapacitated individual to determine if they have any disabilities, infirmities, diseases, or defects which hamper or impede their ability to exercise their rights as an adult.”
Does this mean that varying levels of disability equate to varying levels of personhood? I don’t think so. We are human and are given basic rights because they are God given. Karen deserves to live because she is a human being made in God’s image. When we allow finite humans to determine when those weaker than them can live or die (without biblical reasons for capital punishment); we violate God’s law and diminish the value of all of our lives.
What do you think?

Bobby Schindler has a fantastic article over on
LifeSiteNews.com and in it he outlines the real issues surrounding his sister’s (Terri Schiavo), Karen Weber’s, and similar cases. He argues rather cogently that we’ve lost touch with our core values as a nation. He titled his article Competent Enough to Live.
He wrote: “The reporter also wrote that the decision whether Karen should live or die will depend upon whether or not a committee finds her “competent” to go on living. Yes, that is correct, competent enough to live. I guess passing an IQ test will be next.”
He’s not far off. Anytime the government gets to choose who is “competent enough to live”, we are in very dangerous territory. We value human life not because the majority does, but because the ultimate lawgiver, God, tells us we should. We are closing our eyes to genocide on both sides of our lifespans. We kill unborn babies because they are inconvenient and we do the same to the elderly and disabled. We must defend those who cannot easily defend themselves.
Please watch for news regarding Karen Weber. Be ready to go on the offense to defend her God given right to live. She needs you. You need to help her; if only to separate yourself from, and begin to change our culture of death in these United States.
May God bless you for your efforts. May God grant a peaceful life and recovery for Karen. May the enemies of life be thwarted and may our culture wake up from this drift to degeneracy.
